# Get Objective

> Fetch the current objective for a thread.

Returns ``null`` (HTTP 200 with JSON ``null``) when no objective has been
set yet, so the frontend can show its placeholder.

Args:
    user:      Authenticated owner.
    thread_id: Target conversation.
    db:        Database session.

Returns:
    ``ObjectiveSchema`` if an objective exists, ``None`` otherwise.
